The Lake District has been our calling card for years now, we have made many memories on this residential. But times have changed, we are no spring chickens any more, dont get me wrong we know how to party and we can dance like 1999 at any party. (As we have proven many times)

So I wanted to throw us bank to those early ressy’s with this tasty little number

Accomodation

The accommodation is situated in Thirlmere at the foot of Blencathra near Keswick and consists of 7 bunk-rooms. The rooms all have their own en-suite and are modern compared to the majority of bunkhouse rooms in the lake district. It has its own kitchen and dining area and outside BBQ area with amazing views down the valley of Thirlmere.

Day One - Friday

Friday we will be taking part in a secret activity near Ullswater. This will be group activity before heading to our digs to get settled in, eat and of course our annual quiz.

Day Two - Saturday

After Breakfast, we will be heading circular route hitting a few peaks and wainwrights off before dropping down to Blencathra for dip in scales tarn.

WE WILL NOT BE PROVIDING FOOD. We will be ordering a take away from Keswick, I did this with my Dads and kids residential last year and it went down a treat! So bring cash…

Day Three - Sunday

We will be heading into Grasmere for our final challenge, an old school texting orienteering challenge.

Kit List

Full Kit list will be issued once signed up along with a full itinerary with timings and postcodes, anything you struggle with please get in touch and we may be able to help.

Food

Food is included on this weekend apart from Saturday night. You are more than welcome to bring your own food. We will be sending out some menus 4 weeks prior to the weekend.

Transport

The weekend does not include transport, from experience adding transport adds a huge cost so we ask that you car share. I do have a 7 seater van which I will have myself and my two other coaches in but can take four people with us.

Cost

The cost of the weekend is £350.
